KARAMA to exhibit at CCSS conference
KARAMA will be exhibiting at the California Council of the Social Studies Conference in Los Angeles March 7-8, 2014. We will be displaying, selling and giving away materials about the Arab and Islamic world generally and about Palestine in particular. KARAMA is now a regular exhibitor at CCSS conferences, and we have found a growing interest in the materials that we offer.
KARAMA achieves tax-exempt status
Shortly after registering as a non-profit corporation in California, KARAMA applied for tax-exempt status both to the IRS and to the State of California. We have now received determination letters from both granting us tax-exempt status.
